Why the name? The definition of Highbrow is scholarly or rarefied in taste. You can expect your design to be polished but also uniquely yours. I design in a transitional style (traditional + modern) with pops of color and opportunities for "breaking the rules." Lo-fi refers to the genre of music called Lo-fidelity Beats, a style of music that adds "pops" and "cracks" purposely to music to give it an aged sound. I want to embrace the unique imperfections of your home using the High/Low method to style. Picking high end and low end pieces to create a cohesive look that screams cozy luxe.

The first stage in creating a personalized look for you is to first understand the role that I play. I am an Interior Decorator and not an Interior Designer. Well what is the difference? An Interior Designer can alter the structure of your home, is versed on building codes, and can work with a contractor to achieve an entire remodel. An Interior Decorator, such as myself, focuses strictly on aesthetics -- window treatments, wall coverings, lighting, furniture, and decor. When you decide to take the first step in updating your space, we will start with a consultation to get to know each other, discuss your style, your use of the space, color palette, and budget; as well as to see if we are a good fit for each other. After the initial consultation, you can pick your service package and I will help to achieve a look that you will love!
